Following last week’s successful release and the massive turnout, feature film THE ALLEYS by writer-director Bassel Ghandour continues screening in Jordan and Saudi Arabia for the second week in a row. In collaboration with MAD Solutions and Arab Media Network, the Royal Film Comission-Jordan held a private screening at Taj Mall, in the presence of the cast and crew of the film along with figures of media and the press.
As part of its strategy for promoting Arab cinema and supporting filmmakers, Arab Cinema Center (ACC) collaborates with IFFR Pro for the seventh year, through a presentation entitled “Meet IFFR Pro & Hubert Bals Fund”.
(Vision Int,):- DAUGHTERS OF ABDULRAHMAN, by Zaid Abu Hamdan will compete for the Golden Lynx Award for Best Fiction feature film as well as the CinEuropa Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the 18th edition of FEST – New Directors /New Films Festival, Portugal ( June 20-27). DAUGHTERS OF ABDULRAHMAIN is the first Jordanian film to join the festival.
(Vision Int,):- THE ALLEYS impresses critics and international press on the festival circuit. The Jordanian film, written and directed by Bassel Ghandour, premiered at The Locarno Festival’s 8,000 seat Piazza Grande, Europe's biggest screen.
(Vision Int,):- THE ALLEYS, directed by Bassel Ghandour, commercially releases in Jordan by Arab Media Network and in Saudi Arabia by Rowad Media, a production and distribution firm, as of June 9.
