The international jury was chaired by Moroccan director Noureddine Lakhmari, the critics jury was chaired by Lebanese director, producer and screenwriter Sam Lahoud, and public opinion polls were also conducted at the end of each official competition.
The Moroccan film "Gates of Heaven", directed by Mourad El Khoudi, won the Audience Award.
"Our Lady of the Sea", by Shahd Amin, won the jury award for best film and critics committee award.
The Iranian actress, Zila Shahi, was awarded the best actress award for the Iranian film, Palace of Dreams by the jury, and was handed over by Wafa Amer.
She also honored the Moroccan artist, Bushra Aharish, who spoke about her happiness by honoring and standing on the stage of the festival, which was watched by the biggest stars of the Arab world, including `` Adel Imam, Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Nour Al-Sharif, Faruf Al-Fishawi, Nabila Obeid '', and also the great poet Mahmoud Darwish.
At the end of her talk, Bushra said she shared this honor with her film journey partner, Dr. Malak Dahmouni, the festival's director.
At the end of the ceremony, the festival's president, Abdelhak Mentrash, pledged an extraordinary special session next year, marking the 25th anniversary of the festival.
