African billionaire Mohammed Diouji is kidnapped in Tanzania

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:-Mohamed Diouji, 43, was kidnapped in Tanzania's largest city of Dar es Salaam outside the gymnasium of a luxury hotel where he was on his daily exercise.

Police said they had arrested two people linked to the incident and that two of the kidnappers were believed to be foreigners.

The motive for Diugi's abduction remains unclear.

According to Forbes Magazine, a business and finance specialist, Mohammed Diouji's fortune is about $ 1.5 billion, describing him as the only billionaire in Tanzania.

In a report released in 2017, the magazine said Diugi was the youngest billionaire in Africa and was the official sponsor of Tanzania's top football clubs, the Simba Club.

In 2016, Diogi pledged, to donate at least half of his wealth to projects and charitable institutions.
