The International Monetary Fund gives Egypt credit worth 5.2 billion dollars

Egyptian News Vision: - The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund agreed on a new credit preparedness agreement worth $ 5.2 billion, which lasts 12 months, to help Egypt cope with the repercussions of the Corona Virus pandemic, and compensate for the budget and balance of payments.

On May 11, 2020, the International Monetary Fund agreed to grant Egypt a $ 2.7 billion loan to tackle the Coronavirus pandemic.

The International Monetary Fund stated that the program "will also help the authorities maintain the achievements they have made over the past four years, support health and social spending to protect vulnerable groups, and advance a set of important structural reforms."

To date, the number of Corona epidemics in Egypt has exceeded 60,000, of whom 2,620 died, according to what the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced.
