Israel signs signs for new US embassy in Jerusalem
Israel began to put signs for the new US embassy in the streets of Jerusalem, a week before the scheduled opening of the embassy in the city.
The workers installed signs in English, Hebrew and Arabic near the US consulate in south Jerusalem, which will become the headquarters of the embassy after being officially transferred on May 14 from Tel Aviv.
The US State Department has previously announced its intention to open a new embassy in Jerusalem in May, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of Israel.
After the statements of US President Donald Trump, his country's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and announced his intention to go to Jerusalem for its opening.
