Arab Coalition in Yemen: The Yemeni government has offered the Houthis an exchange of prisoners, according to a Saudi statement. The offer was issued in Riyadh by Yemen's Information Minister Muammar Al-Eryani and Yemeni Human Rights Minister Mohammad Askar on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The statement also referred to foreign detainees without specifying their number or nationality.
The number of prisoners and detainees at the two camps is unknown.
Hundreds of prisoners and prisoners have been exchanged in the past between government forces and Houthis, especially through tribal mediators.
The war in Yemen has left about 10,000 dead and more than 55,000 wounded and a major humanitarian crisis since 2015.
