Saudi Arabia: Arrest of a group accused of communicating with outsiders

The State Security Presidency in Saudi Arabia announced that it had arrested a group of four men and three women on charges of organizing organized acts to circumvent religious and national constants and to link suspiciously with outsiders in support of their activities.

According to the information, the group consists of four men and three women: Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Mumeimig, Mohammad Fahad Al-Rabee'a, Abdul Aziz Mohammed Al-Mishal, Lajin Hazloul Al-Hathul, Aziza Mohammed Al-Yousef, Eman Fahad Al-Nafjan and a seventh person whose investigations require anonymity.

The security spokesman of the Head of State Security said that the competent authority monitored a coordinated activity of a group of people, through which they organized work to overcome the religious and national constants, and the suspicious contact with external parties in support of their activities, the recruitment of people working in sensitive government sites, In order to undermine the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and its social welfare, and the violation of national unity, which affirmed Article XII of the Basic Law of the rule that it must be strengthened and protected from strife and division.
