Download the Camp David documents published by Egypt on the occasion of the 40th anniversary
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates,The Egyptian State Information Service reviewed rare historical documents related to the Camp David Accords, marking the 40th anniversary of the signing of the peace agreement between Egypt and Israel.
The photos published by the State Information Service in the Middle East dated September 17, 1978, provided for in the Camp David Accords, which include a peaceful settlement of Israel's conflicts and its neighbors in accordance with Security Council resolutions,
Documents include Egypt and Israel's recognition of the need for Palestinian "autonomy" in the West Bank and Gaza Strip within five years of the signing of the 1978 agreement, while providing a transitional period for the establishment of a Palestinian state.
It included in one of its annexes the necessity of Israel's withdrawal from all the territories occupied by Israel in the setback, which was intended during the 1967 war, in return for securing a secure border for Israel and ensuring the freedom of shipping in the Suez Canal and international waterways.
