Abu Dhabi, Istanbul: Turkey is not looking for Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, who disappeared on her territory after entering the Saudi embassy in Istanbul, but is trying to find his body, indicating that she is sure of his death.
The Guardian reports that the Turkish authorities are examining street cameras in search of a black truck believed to have carried the body of Khashoggi from the Saudi consulate.
The newspaper quoted Turkish investigators as saying that the truck was one of six vehicles carrying a Saudi team believed to be behind Khashoggi's death.
Turkish officials say the convoy left the consulate about two hours after Khashoggi entered.
Security cameras showed boxes in the truck with a diplomatic plate.
After leaving the consulate, three vehicles left, while the others turned left. The black-covered truck headed for a nearby highway.
The paper pointed out that the Turkish investigators have hinted that they know about the disappearance of the Saudi journalist more than the information they disclosed.
