Tunisia: Legislative elections between two presidencies

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:- Tunis / Awad Salam / Polling stations opened their doors to Tunisians, to vote in legislative elections to choose 217 deputies, who will manage the affairs of the country, which suffers from crises in all fields, especially political and economic.

This legislative election comes between two presidencies, precipitated by the death of President Mohamed Beji Caid Essebsi, to be the second round on Sunday, 13 October 2019, to choose between the mysterious man, professor of constitutional law, Qais Said, and the media man, imprisoned on the grounds of money laundering and tax evasion, Nabil Elkaraoui.

Tunisians began to go to the polls on Sunday to choose their representatives in the country's third parliament since the 2011 revolution that toppled the regime of the late President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, where 15 thousand candidates are competing for 217 seats.

The recommendation in those elections began two days ago, outside the borders of Tunisia, where the Tunisian community living abroad voted.

Elections are held in a hot competitive environment, with the consequences of the results of the first presidential election on voters.
