Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Vision Egypt News: A bomb attack took place on a World War I anniversary celebration, organized by the French embassy, ​​and attended by European diplomats at a non-Muslims cemetery in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, injuring many people.

The authorities in Makkah Governorate said that a Greek citizen and a Saudi security officer were wounded in an attack on a non-Muslim cemetery in Jeddah.

The Saudi authorities secured the cemetery following the accident and traffic returned to normal in the area and the situation is stable.

The Saudi Press Agency said in a statement that the security services were investigating the attack, adding that a group of representatives of European consulates were among the attendees.

The embassies that participated in the commemoration condemned this attack, describing it as "cowardly, which has no justification at all."

It also called on the Saudi authorities to shed as much light as possible on this attack, and to identify and pursue the perpetrators.
