Dubai, Daily Times: - After closing its land borders with Tunisia and neighboring countries, Algeria announced Saturday, March 27, 2021, the suspension of all flights to and from outside the country, for a month, to prevent the spread of the British strain of Coronavirus.
A member of the Scientific Committee to follow up on the developments of the Corona epidemic and the head of the Algerian Doctors Deanship, Berkani Baqat, stated that the decision was issued days after the appearance of two confirmed cases of the British strain of the Coronavirus, despite the measures to ease health restrictions, which the government recently took.
The medical official explained that the suspension of flights includes all border crossings, including air and sea, from 1 to 31 March, according to which the evacuation flights of Algerians stranded outside the country are being frozen, according to what the "Russia Today" website reported on the Algerian "An-Nahar" channel.
