France confirms to Tunisia the refusal of Turkey's presence in Libya

Egyptian News Vision: - The French president insisted that his country reject Turkish intervention in Libya, during a joint press conference with his Tunisian counterpart, Qais Saeed, in Paris.

Macron stressed the need to stop foreign interference in Libya, while the Tunisian parliament had rejected a petition submitted by the "Free Constitutional Party" takes this approach.

Insisting on declaring his rejection of Tunisia's ally, Macron said: "I would like to say that Erdogan's interference in Libya should not happen ... Turkey is playing a dangerous game in which it violates all the commitments it made in Berlin."

For his part, the Tunisian president said that the current authority in Tripoli is temporary and must be replaced by a new legitimacy stemming from the will of the people.

Macron's speech came after Turkey accused France of "endangering NATO security" by "supporting" the Libyan National Army in the ongoing conflict.

And Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has previously spoken of the "sensitivity" of controlling the city and the surrounding Sirte, due to the presence of gas and oil wells.

According to the experts, Erdogan, with his statements, unveiled the true face of Ankara in Libya, where it aspires to control energy resources.

The Turkish President's statements were preceded by the statement of the Turkish Energy Minister that his country plans to start oil exploration operations within the maritime borders, which were determined according to an agreement with the Government of Accord, within 3 to 4 months.
