Dubai United Arab Emirates:- Iran has sent a letter to the International Atomic Energy Agency of the United Nations informing it that it is preparing to install a new number of advanced MIR2 centrifuges at the underground uranium enrichment plant in Natanz.

This is one of the measures that Iran is taking outside of what is stipulated in the nuclear agreement concluded since 2015 between Iran and the group of "5 + 1" countries, which stipulates that Iran can only enrich uranium by using the much less efficient first-generation centrifuges MIR1.

The IAEA said that its Director General, Rafael Grossi, would visit Iran in an attempt to find a solution acceptable to both parties that would allow it to continue inspections in this country.

The agency added that Grossi would hold talks with unidentified senior Iranian officials.
