Dubai United Arab Emirates:- Fourteen rockets fell on the American base at Erbil airport in the Kurdistan region of Iraq, which includes US forces, and residential neighborhoods adjacent to the airport.

The attack resulted in the death of a foreign contractor, as well as the injury of others, including 9 Americans, in addition to material damage to a number of homes and businesses.

The Kurdistan authorities said that the source of the missiles was the Al-Kuweer area in the Nineveh governorate adjacent to the region.

Although the Iranian Foreign Ministry denied Tehran's connection to the attack, it was the militia of the so-called "Awliya al-Dam" militia loyal to it that claimed responsibility for the attack.

The US military says that Iranian militias are behind the attacks that target US interests in Iraq from time to time, and these attacks have receded more than once after the United States directed strikes on them.
