The trial of the Palestinian Aahd Al-Tamimi, 17 years old, front of an Israeli military court began in "closed session", on charges of assaulting two Israeli soldiers, the end of December last year 2017, after the spread of a video showing the beatings of soldiers in the village of Nabi Saleh in the West Bank.

"Military law allows minors to be tried in closed sessions, and adults are not allowed to mix with minors," Tamimi lawyer Gaby Laski told reporters outside the court. "But in a court of the era and from the beginning the court was open."

"Even the prosecutor does not mind that the trial is open, but the court believes it is better for her not to be there, not for the best of Aahd," Laski said.
