Dubai, Daily Times: - "Ai Da" is the first female "robot" artist in the form of a human being in the world, and creates her own paintings using artificial intelligence technology.
With the help of an international team of engineers, computer scientists and innovators, the world's first ultra-realistic artist robot with the power to create creative artwork has been launched.
British Iden Miller, the author of the idea and a specialist in modern art, says that the aim of the "Ai-Da" project is not to create the character of a creative and autonomous robot artist, as there is no complete autonomy, but rather an avant-garde art project with influences from "Dada" and " Postmodernism », pushes the boundaries of interaction and creativity between humans and artificial intelligence.
The purpose of "Ai-Da" is two things. The first is to experiment with technical processes to challenge our notions of what is possible creatively and artistically. The second is to discuss future uses of technologies, according to Miller.
Ai-Da's works are largely abstract and fragmentary, expressing the uncertainty of the twenty-first century in its present form.
Ai-Da produces a number of different artworks from pencil drawings, oil paintings, sculptures, and calligraphy to performance art and even poetry.
Miller explains that "Ai-Da" works alone and in cooperation with humans as well, and her painting style is interpretative, and he is influenced by 20th century artists such as Pablo Picasso.
"Its style reflects a period of our stories and our broken and inconsistent truths, and the uncertainty we face as our environment falters and struggles to direct the emerging technological forces toward the benefit of our planet and its inhabitants, rather than harming it," Miller adds.
