Dubai United Arab Emirates:- Microsoft has patented a chatbot that enables people to talk to loved ones and dead relatives, as the chatbot embodies that character that the user chooses and wants to talk to thanks to artificial intelligence.
The robot studies images, audio data, posts on social media, and emails that were posted or sent by the deceased person.
The patent is titled “Creating a chatbot for a specific person’s conversation”, a system that can access images, audio data, social media posts, electronic messages, and the like: “To create or modify a special index with the character of a specific person.” In some cases, images and video can be used to create 3D model of person for more realism.
Microsoft filed the patent in 2017, but it got approval this month and has become the subject of Internet chatter in the past few days because of its suggestion of a chatbot that brings life back to a "former entity" as a kind of live interactive monument, as far as the idea seems contradictory at first, Many of those who have lost loved ones will understand the comfort that can come from watching old videos of the deceased, or listening to archived voicemail messages, and death creates a painful gap that we yearn to fill.
