The impact of smartphones on mental and psychological health

India: The CMR Authority, which is specialized in technology research and consulting, conducted a study on the impact of smartphones on mental and psychological health.

The study revealed that over 50% of Indians say that their addiction to smartphones is so bad that they cannot live without them.

73% of those interviewed said that smartphones affected their mental and psychological health, while one out of four confirmed that they suffered health disorders in the body because of the use of the phone.

And 74% of the respondents said that the first thing they do in the morning after waking up is to see a smartphone.

The health problems caused by the use of a smartphone range from low vision, headache and insomnia, as the study stated that the smartphone is the last thing that 80% of respondents see before they go to sleep.
