Asahi Shimbun: The universe will not explode 140 billion years ago

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:- Asahi Shimbun, scientists have said that the universe will not explode at least 140 billion years ago, while 13.8 billion years old since the so-called "Big Bang," and that the universe is expanded by mysterious dark energy and dark matter, which form 95 Per cent of it.

Under the theory of great rupture, the universe would eventually be overwhelmed by increased dark energy and rapid expansion, which would tear everything from stars to atoms.

The scientists, some from the University of Tokyo and the National Astronomical Observatory in Japan, surveyed 10 million galaxies to identify dark energy effects through the Hyper Suprime-Cam, a high-resolution camera developed specifically for the Subaru telescope in Hawaii.

After analyzing the data, scientists concluded that previous estimates exaggerated the rate of increase in dark energy and that the universe would be safe for about 140 billion years to come - about ten times its current age.
