The vagina in the 30s:

If you are taking birth control pills, your vagina may become drier in your 30s; Because the pills prevent the release of hormones called androgens. Pregnancy and childbirth also have a great effect on the vagina. Because the uterus swells a lot during pregnancy.

During childbirth, the vagina naturally expands due to its high elasticity, and due to this flexibility, it returns to normal within six weeks of birth.

The vagina in the forties:

The estrogen hormone will start to drop as menopause approaches, but a healthy vagina will remain largely unchanged.

However, the elasticity decreases, the vaginal walls thicken, and vaginal dryness begins.

This may lead to itching and redness.

The vagina in the 1950s: Most women go through menopause in their early 50s, and estrogen levels decrease and tissues become thinner, less elastic, and drier due to the loss of fat and collagen.

Women are more susceptible to infections, such as urinary tract infections and bacterial vaginosis, as well as sexually transmitted diseases.

The vagina in the 1960s and beyond:

By the age of 60, most women will experience vaginal dryness problems, and this can cause problems in their sexual life.

When do you see the doctor?

If you experience any of the following symptoms, you should see a doctor:

. Secretions more than usual and change in smell.

. Itching in the vaginal area.

. Pain during sexual intercourse.

. New protrusions.

To keep your organs healthy, try the following tips:

. Drink water frequently. Water moisturizes your skin, and it does the same for your vagina as well.

. Do pelvic floor exercises; It works to strengthen the bladder and helps you feel comfortable during sexual intercourse.

. Sit on an exercise ball for 15 minutes a day to force your pelvic floor muscles to contract.

. To treat the problem of dehydration, see a doctor about using vaginal emollients.

· stop smoking; Because it lowers estrogen levels.

. Continue to have sex.

Exercise to strengthen pelvic and vaginal muscles:

- Lie on the floor. - Bend your knees and place your feet firmly on the ground.

- Tighten your pelvic floor muscles and push your hips up, while keeping your back straight.

- Hold this position for ten seconds.

- Relax ... and repeat the exercise ten times.
