Dubai, Diyala Times: - A Chinese study looked at more symptoms that became known as long-term "Covid-19" symptoms, which are led by fatigue, fatigue, anxiety, depression, shortness of breath and insomnia.

A Chinese study showed that 359 out of 1,655 patients in Wuhan (22 percent) had suffered from the same disease six months after they were discharged from hospital.

This Chinese research is the largest group study with the longest follow-up period to assess the health consequences of adult patients who have recovered from the emerging coronavirus, and that follow-up lasted from January 7 to May 29, 2020.

Dermatologists say that hair loss is a natural physiological response to a stressful event such as an infectious disease, and it may be temporary unless it leads to alopecia infection, and then irreversible hair loss may occur.

According to the study, 63 percent experienced fatigue or muscle weakness, 26 percent experienced sleep difficulties, 23 percent experienced anxiety or depression, and 22 percent experienced hair loss.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, hair loss caused by Covid is mainly due to what is known as "telogen effluvium" (TE) - a condition that results from a disruption in the hair growth cycle.

On the other hand, specialists at the Belgravia Center in London reported that since the beginning of the epidemic, there has been an increase in the incidence of telogen effluvium, reaching 64 per cent in males and 38 per cent in women.
