Iran cooperates with the International Atomic Energy Agency

Egyptian news vision: Iran allowed the IAEA monitors to enter two sites previously identified by the agency, in order to verify Tehran's nuclear activities.

The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, and the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, said in a joint statement that "Iran voluntarily allows the International Atomic Energy Agency to access the two sites designated by the agency."

The statement added that the agreement would allow observers to enter the two sites to verify Iran's nuclear activities.

Grossi called, Iran for "more transparency" to end some cases related to the inspection of two suspected nuclear facilities.

Grossi said during a joint press conference with Salehi, after his arrival in Tehran: "There are a series of issues that must be resolved, and they require more transparency."

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said in his meeting with the director of the International Atomic Energy Agency that his country welcomes more cooperation with the agency.
