Find statues of Ramses II, and the City II, in Egypt

Drilling and exploration work in collaboration with the Joint Egyptian-German archaeological mission resulted in the discovery of a Pharaonic statues, one is likely that of King Ramses II, and the other to the King City II, in the rain-fed area, east of the capital Cairo.

The statues belonging to the age of nineteen family, were found in the vicinity of the remains of King Ramses II temple, which was built in the courtyard of the sun temples in the ancient Online.

The second statue, which is likely to be of King Ramses II, was found broken into large chunks. It is made of quartz stone, and a length of about eight meters, and the rest of the statue parts still exist and the site is under way to study how lifting.
