A three-seater restaurant in the capital of Western Australia suffers from the problem of seagulls that disturb the customers of the sea-view restaurant, and it was necessary to find a way to keep customers fearful.
The proprietor of the restaurant, Toby Evans, says: "It was so bad ... I think this is her (the bird's) date every year ... now it's very annoying."
The birds meet near the waterfront restaurants of the Hillary's marina for small boats to pick up on food scraps or wait for customers to feed them.
Evans decided to provide each table with a water gun, which some customers saw as successful to get rid of the nuisance of seagulls.
