The International Astronomy Center determines the first days of Eid in most Arab countries

The International Astronomy Center issued a proclamation on the first day of Eid al-Fitr in most Arab countries.

The center, based in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, said in a statement that most of the Muslim world will investigate the crescent of Shawwal (Eid al-Fitr 1439 AH) on Thursday (June 14th).

He added that on that day the crescent can be seen from all Islamic countries by the naked eye, or using the telescope in the case of atmospheric purity, so it is expected that Friday 15 June will be the Day of Fitr in all countries of the world.

The center pointed out that the vision of the crescent possible using the telescope only from East and Southeast Asia and Europe, while the vision of the crescent will be difficult to the naked eye of most Arab countries.
