Iranians circulated a video broadcast on Iran's Channel 1 by a police officer investigating with Hazbari, who expressed regret over what she had done.
"One of the reasons why I have to dance and publish it on the Internet is the large number of pasters on their social networking sites," said Hazbury, who was crying in the video. "If I had known it would make these videos, I would not have done that."
When asked about her family, she says, "Her mother separated from her father for a long time."
The Iranians launched on the social networking sites "Hashtag" entitled "Maeyda_Hzbri" to declare solidarity with them and demand the authorities to release her.
