Denmark has initiated a law banning the wearing of the veil in public places, which provides for a fine for every girl covering her face.
The fine of wearing a veil that shows only eyes, in public places to a thousand koron ($ 156, 134 euros). The ban also includes other things that can hide the face such as artificial beards or masks that only show the eyes.
In case of repeated violation, the fine will reach 10 thousand kronor.
The number of women wearing the veil or burqa in Denmark is unknown.
Human rights activists have criticized the ban as a violation of women's rights, while defenders say it allows better integration of Muslim immigrants into Danish society.
