Dubai United Arab Emirates, Cyclone Jepi in Japan, the worst storm to hit the country in 25 years, caused the burning of 100 cars, the collision of a bridge carrier, killing at least nine people, and injuring more than 340 others.

The British newspaper said winds of 135 miles and giant waves hit Japan.

About 3,000 people spent the night at Kansai International Airport after a bridge-to-air link between the airport and the city of Izumisano struck, and none of the crew of the 11 crew was hurt, Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) said.

According to the authority, the airport remained closed on Wednesday, which led to the cancellation of 162 flights, and flooded the one of its course and the basement of the terminal building.
