Elaine Erson, the Swedish girl who saved an Afghan man from being deported

As passengers board a plane about to take off from Gothenburg International Airport in Sweden heading for Istanbul, girl Elaine Erson noticed that a 52-year-old refugee had boarded the plane as part of a government operation to keep him out of Sweden.

Elaine objected to the decision, refused to sit in her seat, and insisted on standing in the middle of the corridor; causing the plane to be canceled.

Elaine did not stop the young woman protest until the refugee was removed from the cabin of the plane, and photographed the whole incident in a video, 14 minutes.

During the protest, the young woman asked the rest of the passengers sitting in solidarity and standing with her, and indeed some of them joined. This complicated the problem and pushed the airport security to meet Eileen's request to take the passenger off the plane.

The young woman also accompanied the refugee to the airport building, and the Swedish news agencies reported that Elaine's position "canceled the official decision to deport the man to Afghanistan."

After the incident, Elaine's video spread quickly on the Internet, especially via Twitter, and many people expressed admiration for her courage and humane stand.
