Hassan Rouhani left the mosque as soon as Friday prayers ended, behind the guide Ali Khamenei, without waiting for his salutations.
According to "Russia Today", the Iranian president appeared in a video, ending his prayers and leaving before he saluted the Supreme Leader, who had been leading the worshipers during Friday prayers in Tehran, for the first time in 8 years, and delivered a sermon, which the Iranian street described as "crucial."
The sermon comes amid popular demonstrations sweeping Iran, demanding the departure of the Supreme Leader.
