The director of the central government mortuary in the city, Sinh Camara, said that the morgue received 91 bodies after the explosion of a fuel tanker.
And local sources revealed that large crowds of residents went to collect fuel leaking from the tanker in the Wellington area, but a bus collided with it and a huge explosion occurred.
President Julius Maada Bio, who was in Scotland to attend the UN climate talks, lamented the "heavy loss of life".
