The Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Tatiana Golikova, has announced that Russia will limit the movement of railways to and from China due to the outbreak of the "Corona" virus.
"To control and prevent the entry and spread of the new Corona virus," she said, "by a decision from the headquarters of operations, we will restrict rail traffic from Friday morning, January 31, 2020, and only one destination for the trains will continue to operate from Moscow to Beijing and vice versa."
According to "Gulikova", a decision will be made on the system of flights to China no later than Friday.
"We agreed that within two days, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will assess the situation according to the number of our citizens returning to Russia," another meeting of the headquarters is scheduled, she added, adding that the status of Russian universities will be presented in order to extend the holidays to Chinese students.
In addition, five regions will extend the closure of checkpoints on the border with China until March 1, 2020.
In late December 2019, the Chinese authorities reported an outbreak of corona pneumonia of unknown origin in Wuhan, a densely populated city, Hubei Province.
