The Turkish president's encroachment on his French counterpart is causing a crisis between the two countries

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: France responded to the incursion of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to President Emmanuel Macron by summoning Ankara's ambassador to Paris.

The French official said: "Regarding the recent abuses by the Turkish president, these are not statements, these insults ... We expect clarification from President Erdogan."

Erdogan has said French President Emmanuel Macron's warning of the clinical death of NATO reflects a "sick and shallow" understanding.

He said Macron himself had to ascertain whether he suffered "clinical death."

The Turkish president in response to criticism of Paris for the Turkish attack, a member of NATO, on Kurdish fighters in northern Syria: "These statements are worthy of only those like you who are in a state of clinical death," according to Agence France-Presse.

"Nobody cares about you, you still have a newbie character, start addressing that," Erdogan told Macron.

Erdogan pointed out that the French president lacks experience, and that he does not know the nature of the fight against terrorism, concluded by saying: "Waved as much as you want, in the end will recognize the validity of our fight against terrorism."
