Daily Times, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- The famous Rembrandt painting, painted in 1642, called “The Night Watch” was restored, and it measures 3.5 x 4.5 meters, and was shown to the public in Amsterdam, after more than 300 human years for this painting, called “Forgotten.”

The painting was cut into large strips of cloth in 1715, and was sold for 7.68 million euros, or 9.1 million dollars, at auction, after experts discovered that it was the work of the French painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard.

One of the organizers of the auction house said: 'The owners, whose family has owned the painting for generations, did not include the painting in any will, and they gave it to him, and he took the painting to be evaluated by "Cabinet Turquin", a company of painting experts based in Paris.

Fragonard lived from 1732 to 1806, and is one of the most emblematic painters of the 18th century.
