Vision Egypt News: An Egyptian lawyer has sent a judicial notice to the Egyptian Theatrical Professions Syndicate after the publication of pictures of the Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan with Israeli artists in Dubai.

The lawyer called for an investigation with Muhammad Ramadan and prevented him from filming any of his works inside Egyptian territory.

The Cairo Court of Urgent Matters set a session on December 19, 2020, to hear the first session of the trial of the artist Mohamed Ramadan on charges of challenging the Egyptian people by posting a picture of him with an Israeli representative on social media.

Many of the calls to boycott Muhammad Ramadan spread on social media a few hours after the spread of his picture with each of the Israeli actor Eilad Tesla, singer Omir Adam, and Israeli football player Dia Sabaa.

The Egyptian Acting Professions Syndicate also issued a statement regarding the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, after sparking controversy by taking pictures with artists from Israel.

The union said in the text of the statement it issued: “During the last hours, the Syndicate Council followed with all interest and responsibility stemming from a patriotic and national stance representing the masses of Egyptian artists and creators of what happened to one of the members of the Syndicate in an artistic gathering in a sister Arab city, and taking pictures with Israeli artists. "

The union added, "The Syndicate of Representative Professions Council, as it addressed the details of this controversial incident, first confirms the full and complete support for the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, the union’s commitment to the collective position of Egyptian artists, and its permanent adherence to the positions and decisions of the Egyptian and Arab artistic unions federations towards such behavior."

In his latest response, Muhammad Ramadan shared a picture of the flag of the State of Palestine on his official Facebook page in an attempt to remedy the public’s anger against him, but the matter intensified the attack on him after he received more than 13,000 comments, most of them angry.

Muhammad Ramadan had initially published a video in which he appeared with a Palestinian youth at the same time and place he took the photo with the Israeli singer, and the Egyptian artist in his tweet on Twitter, with which the video was attached, greeted the Palestinian people.

Ramadan confirmed in the same tweet that some ignoring this video confirms that the intention is not the Palestinian cause, but their real cause is the 1000th attempt to stop its success and popularity.

Ramadan also stressed that he does not ask about the nationality of those who wish to take a souvenir photo with him, saying: “I don’t ask about a country that is photographed unless it is alone.” He said he had a video at the same time and the same place with a Palestinian youth !! Some for this video confirm that the intention is not the Palestinian cause, but their real cause is the 1000th attempt to stop my success and my popularity, trust in God, success.
