Daily Times, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- The Dutch player, Arjen Robben, aged 37, announced that he retired from football for good, and decided to end his career, and hang up his shoes.

Arjen Robben, Dutch player Groningen, published a statement on his official account on the micro-blogging site Twitter, saying: "Dear football friends, I have decided to stop my active football career, a very difficult choice. I would like to thank everyone for all this warm support! With my regards." .

Robben had announced his retirement in 2019, but returned to the stadiums to play for the club in which he began his sports career, after the Dutch team offered him the matter in May 2021.

Robben began his football career with Groningen when he was twelve years old, before he became in the first team in the year 2000 and then moved to Eindhoven in the year 2002, before playing in the English Premier League (Chelsea from 2004 to 2007) and the Spanish (Real Madrid between 2007). and 2009) and the German (Bayern Munich between 2009-2019).

Dutchman Arjen Robben, 37, hinted that the process of his recovery from the injury he suffered at the beginning of the season "is not going well", and raised the possibility of his retirement from playing permanently in the coming weeks.
