It was agreed to hold a meeting between the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities and her Uzbek counterpart, in the presence of the ambassadors of the Egyptian and Uzbek sides, to discuss visions and proposals to increase the tourism movement between the two countries, to be followed by a meeting that brings together representatives of the Egyptian private tourism sector and its Uzbek counterpart.
During her meeting with the South Korean ambassador in Cairo, which was attended by the first secretary of the economic section of the embassy, the deputy minister emphasized the distinguished relations between Egypt and South Korea, and pointed out that the path of the Holy Family in Egypt is one of the important tourist patterns that attract the Korean tourist due to his passion for spiritual tourism.
The possibility of inviting a number of celebrities, influencers and bloggers from South Korea to visit Egypt and convey their tourism experience to their followers through their pages on social media was also discussed.
For his part, the Korean ambassador stressed that Egypt is the world's gateway to the Middle East and Africa, praising the tourist's sense of safety in Egypt and the great development witnessed by the tourism sector in recent times.
The possibility of inviting tourism companies operating in the Korean market to discuss the best mechanisms for promoting the Egyptian tourist destination in South Korea was also discussed.
