Indicator of the readiness of the world's governments to implement AI technology

Vision Egypt News: - A report issued by the Oxford Insights and International Development Research Center, covering about 172 countries.

The methodology for measuring the readiness of governments to use AI techniques was applied based on three main axes and 33 indicators, including:

  • Existence of a national strategy for artificial intelligence.
  • Data protection and privacy laws.
  • Use of information and communication technology and digital services.
  • Communications infrastructure development.
  • Availability of digital skills. Entrepreneurial culture.

The ranking is based on a total of 100 points.

The UAE was the first Arab country, followed by Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the Sultanate of Oman, and Egypt, the second in Africa after Mauritius ... and South Africa the third.

The following table shows the ranking of 50 countries around the world in the readiness of the world's governments to apply artificial intelligence.
