Has the UAE begun withdrawing from the Arab alliance against the Houthis in Yemen?

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates:- The United Arab Emirates, after years of war against the Huthis in Yemen, seems to have long been involved in the first steps to withdraw from the Saudi-led Arab alliance against the Iranian extension south of the kingdom.

The UAE has decided to reduce and redeploy its forces in Yemen, according to a senior UAE official, who said his country was redeploying and reducing its forces throughout Yemen to turn from a "military first" strategy to a "peace first" plan.

He reiterated his country's commitment to the Yemeni government and the Saudi-led coalition, explaining that the discussions on the redeployment had been going on for more than a year.

He stressed that the redeployment is in line with the agreement reached in Sweden in December between the warring Yemeni parties.
