Daily Times, United Arab Emirates: - Sixty-nine people were killed or wounded in a shooting accident in Indianapolis, at a FedEx facility.

One person armed assaulted and killed 8 people and wounded 60 others before committing suicide, bringing the death toll to 9.

Police said the accident occurred at a FedEx facility near the airport in Mirabell Road, Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Police Officer Jenny Cook explained that the officers were called to the shooting site, and when the officers arrived there was active gunfire, stressing that the alleged shooter had "committed suicide", and that many of the victims were taken to various hospitals in the area.

WRTV reported that workers hid under transport belts during the accident.

The facility employs more than 4,500 people and is the company's second largest hub in the world.
