Vision, Dubai United Arab Emirates: Within the framework of its endeavor to find a formulation acceptable to the Palestinian and Israeli parties for two main files; The first is related to the stabilization of the ceasefire, and the second is related to the reconstruction process in Gaza. Egypt sent a high-level security delegation headed by the head of the Egyptian General Intelligence Service, Abbas Kamel, at the start of a visit leading to Israel and the Palestinian territories to stabilize the lull in the Gaza Strip.

The Egyptian security delegation will discuss ways to reach a comprehensive calm in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and the latter's reconstruction.

The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, stressed the importance of taking all necessary measures to ensure that the escalation between Israel and Palestine does not recur, and directed the Egyptian security delegation to push efforts to end the Palestinian division.

Kamel is scheduled to meet in Tel Aviv with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, National Security Council Chairman Meir Ben Shabat and Intelligence Minister Eli Cohen.

It is expected that the head of Egyptian intelligence will visit Ramallah at a later time, where he will meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and senior Palestinian officials.

Media reports said that Abbas Kamel will head to the Gaza Strip as part of efforts to stabilize the calm after the recent round of fighting.

In the same context, the Israeli Foreign Minister, Gabi Ashkenazi, arrived in Cairo, where he will meet his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.

Ashkenazi wrote on his Twitter account: "Thank you for inviting Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, which is the first visit of an Israeli foreign minister to Egypt in 13 years."

He continued: "During this visit, we will hold a number of meetings to discuss bilateral issues to strengthen economic and trade relations, and go into the mechanisms of calm towards Gaza and rebuild the sector under international supervision."
