#Vision_Int, Dubai United Arab Emirates:-- Russian President Vladimir Putin will enter self-isolation after those close to him were infected with the Corona virus, and he will participate in a security conference in Tajikistan via video technology.

President Putin had received the Syrian President in the Kremlin in the capital, Moscow, where Bashar al-Assad was on an unannounced visit.

The Syrian presidency stated that Presidents Putin and Assad discussed the files of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, and the measures taken to expand and develop it to achieve common interests.

The Syrian-Russian summit, which began with a lengthy bilateral meeting between the two presidents, was later joined by Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and dealt with joint cooperation between the armies of the two countries in the process of combating terrorism and completing the liberation of lands still under the control of terrorist organizations.

They also discussed the steps taken on the political track, as the two sides stressed the importance of completing work on this track in order to reach consensus between the Syrian parties without any external interference. The discussions also touched on areas of economic cooperation between the two countries.
