Vision, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- In a visit interrupted by years of estrangement between Cairo and Doha, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry, visited the State of Qatar, during which he met the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, in a lengthy one-on-one meeting between them. Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, spokesperson for the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the two ministers expressed satisfaction at the positive developments in Egyptian-Qatari relations following the signing of the "Al-Ula Statement" on January 5, 2021, and agreed on the importance of moving forward with taking measures and measures. Necessary to build on what has been achieved by reactivating the various bilateral cooperation frameworks and continuing to hold the existing follow-up mechanisms in an effort to settle all outstanding issues between the two countries during the coming period.

It was also agreed to advance aspects of bilateral cooperation in priority sectors to achieve the interests of the two countries and brotherly peoples.

Ambassador Ahmed Hafez added that the meeting dealt with the most prominent current challenges facing the Arab countries and the regional environment, and the necessity of intensifying coordination and consultation and strengthening joint action mechanisms, in a way that contributes to achieving the aspirations of the Arab peoples towards enhancing security and stability and advancing the wheel of development.

The consultative meeting scheduled to be held within the framework of the League of Arab States was also discussed to discuss the most prominent Arab issues and ways to deal with external interference harmful to Arab national security, as well as the importance of stressing Arab solidarity with Egypt and Sudan during the extraordinary session of the Ministerial Council scheduled to be held on the issue of the Renaissance Dam. Ethiopian.

The talks also dealt with discussing the visions and positions of the two countries on the most important issues of common concern at the regional and international levels.
