Beirut - Social media has been buzzing with the Lebanese accusations that the Lebanese Hezbollah is involved in the assassination of the Lebanese activist, Luqman Salim, who is known for his opposition to the party, rejecting the official communications issued by their government.

The pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia is the biggest problem facing the Lebanese state alongside the economic crisis, especially since the party has turned into a tool to impose Iranian hegemony in Lebanon.

A while ago, the Lebanese were able to depose Nasrallah, "his holiness," and the trend became among the sarcastic tweets.

Tweeters circulated pictures of leaflets placed in front of Luqman Salim's home in Hreik neighborhood, with direct expressions of threat, which prompted him to send a statement to Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah and the head of the Amal Movement Nabih Berri, blaming them for any attack he might be exposed to.

Commentators believe that "a campaign of assassinations has begun against everyone who opposes Hezbollah ... who carry missiles but are afraid of the word."

Luqman Salim runs the “Ummam” research center in the southern suburbs, the party’s stronghold near Beirut, which was seen as a challenge to these political forces and the most powerful in Lebanon. Saleem belongs to the Shiite community, but he is fiercely opposed to sectarianism and considers it one of Lebanon's biggest problems.
