Malawi intends to open an embassy in Israel

Egyptian news vision: - The President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr. Lazarus Chakwira, announced that his country intends to open an embassy in Israel, as part of the reforms in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the capital, Lilongwe, and the diplomatic missions in the world so that they can better represent the country's interests.

"The reforms will include a review of our diplomatic presence, including our desire to open new missions in Lagos, Nigeria and Jerusalem," Chakwira said.

Chakra added that currently, the African country does not have an embassy in Israel and that the Israeli ambassador to Malawi operates from Kenya.
