Daily Times, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- Did Joe Biden endorse Donald Trump's orders to push Venezuela into a civil war and kill its leaders? This question was asked, in a deplorable way, by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, during a military ceremony.

Maduro accused the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the US military of plotting to assassinate him, wondering if his US counterpart, Joe Biden, had authorized it.

Venezuela's accusation of America was a comment on visits by CIA Director William Burns and the commander of the US Southern Command (Southcom), Admiral Craig Faller, to Colombia and Brazil.

The Venezuelan President said: Our sources in Colombia assure us that they came to prepare a plan targeting me and important political and military leaders. Did President Joe Biden allow the plan aimed at assassinating me and senior political and military leaders in Venezuela? Yes or no?".

Maduro regularly denounces plans to carry out a coup, military invasion or assassination, without providing any evidence for these accusations.

He attributes responsibility for this to the United States and its regional allies, who did not recognize his re-election in 2018.
