According to the Chinese news agency, the new Chinese mutant, Hehe, was named after one of the Chinese cities in which it appeared in Hei Longjiang Province, in the north-east of the country.
The Chinese authorities considered Hehe as the most dangerous new mutant threatening the Chinese people in the winter. This led to the closure of the entire Chinese city of Hehe.
The Chinese authorities are currently subjecting all residents of Hehe City to examinations for infection, after monitoring this new strain.
The appearance of this mutant raised many questions, especially after a few days of warnings issued by the Chinese government to its citizens to stockpile foodstuffs necessary for a possible unspecified emergency.
