Dubai, United Arab Emirates, South Korea: - A team of researchers at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) has succeeded in developing a new technology that relies on artificial intelligence to diagnose prostate cancer by examining urine samples within just 20 minutes, with an accuracy of 100%.

Diagnosing prostate cancer helps avoid the need for biopsies that expose suspects to pain and bleeding.

This technology was achieved by introducing an intelligent AI analysis method, linked to a highly sensitive biosensor based on electrical signals. This provides high accuracy in the examination, instead of the bed diagnosis, which does not exceed 30% accuracy only.

“This research has developed an intelligent biosensor that can quickly diagnose prostate cancer, with nearly 100% accuracy through urine testing only, and it can be used more in the accurate diagnosis of other types of cancer using Urine test ».
