Daily Times, Dubai United Arab Emirates:- Oral cancer to cancer that forms in any part of the mouth, and there are three symptoms that may be an indication of infection, according to health experts.

These symptoms appear as:

  • a white or red spot on or under a person's tongue; It lasts for a long time, and in this case you must consult a doctor.
  • Another sign of oral cancer is ulcers or scars that don't go away on their own.
  • The third indicator is bleeding from the tongue, if its owner accidentally bites it during chewing.

Doctors warned of an increased risk of oral cancer in alcoholics, smokers and patients with HPV.

Oral cancer may appear on:

  • lips
  • gums
  • the tongue
  • inner cheek lining
  • roof of mouth
  • floor of the mouth (below the tongue)

Oral cancer is one of several types of cancer grouped into a category called head and neck cancers.

Oral cancer and other head and neck cancers are usually treated similarly.
